Exclusively Diamonds - A leader in the industry. Exclusively Diamonds is a locally owned and operated free-standing jewelry store located in Mankato, MN. Exclusively Diamonds has become the jeweler of choice by building a legacy of integrity and trusted pricing in fine quality jewelry. They are an American Gem Society member and are a leader in offering customer branded jewelry such as Hearts on Fire, Roberto Coin, Tacori, Simon G., Makur, The Private Collection of South African Diamonds, Christopher Designs, Pandora and more.

A store is born from a woman with passion and drive. Exclusively Diamonds was started over 28 years ago by a woman with a passion for diamonds and jewelry. Sally Nelson, founder of Exclusively Diamonds, sold jewelry form an attaché case off her dining room table while working in Waterville, Minnesota as a special education teacher. For two years she invited customers into her home to shop before she realized the need to open a store. It looked like an impossible dream when she had only $2,500 of her own to put towards the start up of her business. Interest rates were 21 percent and several banks said no to her plan. Passion and persistence won out when one banker finally heard her story and believed in her dream. Exclusively Diamonds was born on the fourth floor of the Matt J. Graif office building in downtown Mankato. This was the closest spot to the "retail action" in downtown Mankato. This hidden location was not ideal for a retail jewelry store, but Nelson was determined to create a store with premium quality and exceptional customer service.

Exclusively Diamonds expands and relocates. In 1985 daughters Betsy and Sarah joined Nelson at Exclusively Diamonds and the three of them proved to be an excellent team. That year that sales volume grew by 85 percent. As the business grew more team members joined. Nelson retired in 1998 and daughter Sarah Person purchased the business from her. In August of 2000 Person relocated the store to its present location in the retail district of Mankato.

Teamwork with a mission and purpose to serve. Today, Exclusively Diamonds has 15 employees which include sales staff, marketing staff, accounting staff, support staff and 3 in-store goldsmiths offering state-of-the-art jewelry repair. Their mission is "To be the jeweler of choice by building a legacy of integrity and trusted pricing in fine quality jewelry and uncompromising service. We want our customers to have a memorable and rewarding experience every time they shop our store. Our purpose is to serve our customers, our local and global community and God."

A Legendary Experience - A Luxury by today's standards. Exclusively Diamonds hosts various jewelry events throughout the years allowing their customers to indulged in parties such as "Pearls Day Out," "An Evening of Dreams," "A 25th Anniversary Celebration of Glitz & Glamour," "Men's Night," and has hosted a master diamond cutter from South Africa. These events and many others give customers a memorable experience that is fun and informative. Exclusively Diamonds strives to give their customers new opportunities to keep up to date with the latest in jewelry fashion and provides the WOW factor for customers to fall in love with the beauty and brilliance of fine jewelry.

Along with events, Exclusively Diamonds holds a strong presence in their community by actively participating with organizations and businesses such as YMCA, United Way, Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development, YWCA, Immanuel St. Joseph's Mayo Health Foundation, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Connect Business Magazine, Womeninc and more.
