Cancers of the prostate, lung, skin, kidney, and other organs can also spread to the testicles. Scientists have found a few risk factors that make a man more likely to get testicular cancer. Even if a man has one or more risk factors for this disease, there's no way to know for sure how much those factors contributed to causing the cancer. Also, most men with testicular cancer do not have any of the known risk factors. Research in this area is going on.
